Fienix is a new, Linux modern distribution with a 64-bit kernel for the 64-bit PowerPC. This is a much needed addition for Linux on 64-bit PowerPC's as many of the mainstream distros have stoped supporting 64-bit PowerPC. 

This USB comes with the the full installation including the 64-bit kernels for the AmigaOne X1000 and the AmigaOne X5000. 

The Fienix Linux distro also receives ongoing updates, fixes and enhancements for 64-bit PowerPC computers.

The USB comes with a getting started guide that contains boot instructions for your X1000 and X5000 computers.

This distro is the creation of Casey Cullen an Amiga On The Lake, AmigaOne X5000 customer. Casey has spend hundreds of hours working on this project. We mean, hundreds of hours, no kidding.

Casey wanted to do this for himself and now you can enjoy the fruits of his labor of love.   

We are very happy to add this USB to our site and are very excited to do so. The USB and instructions are for sale at cost. We are not making anything on the sale of this USB. This is how excited we are to help get this new distro out to you, our customers.

We will be continuing to offer this USB includes new updates (5.7 Kernel) and more instructions that include other 64-bit PowerPC computers in the future.
