ZuluSCSI Blaster

$70.99

Amiga On The Lake is excited to offer from Rabbit Hole Computing, the new ZuluSCSI Blaster.

From Rabbit Hole Computing:

New for 2025, ZuluSCSI Blaster is an advanced SCSI storage emulator and is powered by the Raspberry Pi Foundation's RP2350B microcontroller.

ZuluSCSI is easy to use: Simply place an appropriately-named disk image or CD-ROM ISO on your SD card in order to present it for use by your SCSI host system. ZuluSCSI can emulate up to 7 SCSI devices simultaneously at any time, and supports both FAT and ExFAT-formatted SD cards (for images greater than 4GB in size).

ZuluSCSI Blaster supports synchronous and asynchronous SCSI transfers, with read speeds up to 18 megabytes/second.  A sufficiently-fast SD card and SCSI controller with Ultra SCSI support is required to achieve maximum throughput.

New ZuluSCSI Blaster features
  • USB-C connector
  • 16-bit stereo CD Audio playback emulation (requires optional plug-in DAC board) *
  • Expansion header for optional RM2 ZuluSCSI Blaster Wi-Fi plug-in module *
  • Up to 18 megabytes per second read, 11 megabytes per second write
  • Single-Ended 50 pin IDC connector

* Will be available soon.

ZuluSCSI firmware is open-source, and GPLv3-licensed.

Board dimensions: 90mm (3.5") by 100mm (4.0"). The four M3-sized mounting hole dimensions are identical to those found on the bottom of any 2.5" hard drive, meaning you can use most commodity 2.5" to 3.5" mounting brackets/adapters to mount your ZuluSCSI.

Firmware updates are as simple as placing a file on a FAT32 or exFAT-formatted SD card, inserting it in the SD card slot, and applying power to the ZuluSCSI. A firmware recovery mechanism is also provided.

Documentation and firmware updates are available at zuluscsi.com/README and zuluscsi.com/manual
